Story: Eight Eyes starts when a young couple Cass (Sweet) and Gav (Thomas) are having a vacation through the former Yugoslavia. Along their journey, they meet Saint Peter (Veljanovski) a local who remembers the horrors of the war. While it starts out like a friendly connection, soon starts to become too friendly.
The journey becomes even more disturbing when the couple gets separated and Cass searches for answers about Gav. However, nothing can prepare her for what is truly waiting for her in the darkest corners.
Verdict on Eight Eyes
Eight Eyes is a horror thriller following a young couple that finds themselves taken into a deeper side of former Yugoslavia. However, they find themselves going through a disturbing series of events when it comes to meeting the locals.
This movie takes us down a disturbing road, as we find ourselves taken on a journey unlike anything we have seen before. It could have easily gone down a certain road we have seen before but plays everything out into a much more surreal journey. This is a unique journey, despite being set in the present day, the look of the movie makes us feel like we are in a 70s-style movie.
Final Thoughts –Eight Eyes is an odd, but stylish nightmare journey.
