Eggcelent Discovery

Hello dear readers,
Do you ever walk into Kitchen Stuff Plus and walk out with a bunch of things that you didn't think you wanted and/or needed? That's me in a nutshell. Every time I enter Kitchen Stuff Plus, I walk out with something - useful or useless. It never fails. What can I say? The shiny, colourful gadgets get my attention. A few weeks back, during another casual walk through, I came across two adorable silicone cups. At first glance, I figured them to be mini bowls - yes, not very imaginative. But, after careful inspection, I discovered the cups were actually for making poached eggs. GASP!
If you're like me, you may have already discovered that achieving the perfect "poach" isn't as easy as Martha Stewart tells you it is. There is a technique. Right amount of boil. Right amount of simmer. Touch of vinegar. Not to mention, the perfect crack and drop. I've tried and every single time, I end up with water & eggs - an unappetizing combination. With this in mind, I decided to invest in the silicone cups and try to make hungry husband the best poached eggs.
What a feat! So simple. So easy. Just crack an egg in each cup. Put in boiling water and let it cook for 10-15 minutes. C'est bon. Perfectly poached eggs. These cups made me look like such a genius in the kitchen.

Now doesn't that look great? The 2 cups sell for $7.99 at Kitchen Stuff Plus. Don't wait. Go ... run.... get your hands on these! ASAP.
Enjoy!
