Ede Poly Exam Saga: Open Letter To Students’ Union & CBT Committee

Posted on the 09 December 2020 by Naijapary

It is crystal clear and obtrusive that our ever dear Union has suffered blatant actions in the recent time from some common people propelled by interests and self-centred desires.

There have been series of crisis occurring from the very first day of the exam, most especially the ones that concerned with CBT exams and examination venues. The errors from the incompetent CBT committee has disastrously disorganized and frustrated many students in recent days. According to the Press, it was said that all CBT exams should been postponed till after POP exams irrespective of department.

What saddens me most is the stand of STUDENTS' UNION Leaders on this matter. They have acted in ways that can be described as barbaric, unconstitutional and total disgrace to the culture and traditions of our dear Union.

Many statements was released by FPE Press, none of it speaks true of students. The choice of words they used are uttered with stupidity and shame.
How can a *common Man-O-war* utterly call students *Animal* and the Press body has the gut to broadcast that!

The good for nothing Man-O-war said it was unfortunate that he was not duly enforced.
What if he was duly enforced as he mentioned? He would have beaten those students up right?
And I'm very sure the Union leaders won't fight for it. What a shame

Most students were frustrated because their rights was withheld and their time was wasted, and yet they keep addressing those students as being undisciplined!
Even your no capacity president jokingly used the incident at the south Campus to catch cruise on his media platform.

Comr. SIWES said and I quote: "Our (Advocate Crew) stand to support the student community is not motivated by greed or group of people. It is a self conceived idea that the union as a whole must be saved and the authority of the union must be preserved by the element of the union"

You (Kazywhite) said the symbol of Studentocracy is built on students welfarism. Is this what our welfarism means to you??

"There is a frightful danger ahead, visible only to those who care to look beyond their selfish and arrogant ends"

The interest of Nigerian students remain paramount to me and I am gallantly here for them

Dear Nigerian students,
You do have a voice, speak up
Don't feel intimidated by any element of anti-unionism.
Speak up if there's need to.

Kazywhite, is this the Studentocracy agenda you preached about??

FPE Press, are you for the students or for the management??
