Eat Delicious: Honey Nut Overnight Oats

By Threadandbutter @threadandbutter

There really isn't a method to this 'recipe' because it really is as simple as adding all of the ingredients into a container, mixing them up and placing in the fridge overnight to let all of the oats soften and soak up all of the delicious flavours. You will be pleased to know there are no boundaries with this idea either, try mixing up all sorts of different flavours and see what works for you. The basic recipe can remain the same so just mix up the toppings at your leisure.
FOUNDATION INGREDIENTS:
1 cup yogurt (I used vanilla yoghurt in this instance but you can use whatever you have available)
1/2 cup milk (Any milk will work, coconut, soya, oat, skimmed/semi skimmed etc).
1/2 cup oats
A squeeze of honey/agarve to sweeten
TOPPINGS:
Mixed nuts
Sprinkle of desiccated coconut
An extra squeeze of honey on top
PS. The first time I tried the recipe I wasn't entirely satisfied with the consistency as the oats hasn't soaked up enough of the mixture and were still a little bit crunchy. The second time I made them I took them out of the fridge and let them warm to room temperature all morning and by lunch time they were absolutely perfect.
