Eat Atlanta: Parkgrounds

By Kevin O'Gara

Inspired by whatshouldieatforbreakfasttoday's “Eat Berlin” series of posts, and because I love a good local cafe,I introduce to you my second post in my Eat Atlanta series. Parkgrounds is a dog park and cafe (dog park and coffee grounds – clever, right?) combined in a sweet neighborhood breakfast spot.

We walked over to Parkgrounds with the dogs, and after letting them into the dog park we ordered hot chocolates. It’s not too cold out yet, so we were able to sit in the dog park and watch the dogs while we enjoyed our drinks. There is seating on a covered patio where you can sit and not be disturbed by the dogs, or you can sit on tables and benches in the park and pet the dogs as they run by.

Besides coffee, hot chocolate, and other drinks they also have breakfast and lunch menus and board games inside. The cafe feels very neighborhood-y and the staff is super friendly. I think it’s a brilliant spot, and the perfect destination for a walk!
