Facebook and Pinterest

Pinterest has made it very easy to share pins on Facebook and Facebook users already are into sending “LIKES”. You already startout out with the ability to like pins without any extra work. You can follow your Facebook friends on Pinterest so connect your Facebook and Pinterest account.

This is not new but if you don’t know about the Woobox Pinterest Tab then you need to go get one!

Just go to this link Woobox.com/

http://woobox.com/pinterest and install it on your business Facebook fan page.

You can add a custom tab cover that matches your branding or use the default P tab cover.

Be sure that you have you boards arranged so that your business’s most important boards are showing up first.

Stand back and take a look at it! Pretty Cool, Huh?

YouTube

Have you ever thought about using YouTube to promote and cross promote your business? Well, even YouTube has a Pinterest account. Who Knew? (I did not) I have not been cross promoting as much as I should between the two but I intend to change that!

A Tip that I came across  ….you should not use the embed code but the URL to the video itself.

On Your Blog

Make sure you have a follow on Pinterest button on your blog and simple way for users to pin your pictures. Take a look at your social icons and share buttons. If you don’t have one you need to fix that!

Always have an image to pin and think about how that image will look on Pinterest. I make all my images with that idea in mind. As soon as you post a blog, pin your image on Pinterest yourself!  Next, share your pin on Twitter! It’s a great way to bring your followers straight to your board and your Pinterest followers back to your website!

Remember to use a hash tag when tweeting your Pin! That will get your pin in front of those that are interested in your topic Twitter!
