Note: The Giant's Causeway features 40,000 interlocking basalt columns caused by an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is made up of three rock outcrops, of which the Grand Causeway is the largest. The whole area has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. It is also considered fourth greatest natural wonder in the U.K.
