Story: Duchess starts when Scarlett (Kirk) meets gangster Robert (Winchester) and jumps into a relationship and the gangster lifestyle. She can handle herself in a fight and it doesn’t take too long before they find themselves in trouble.

However, Scarlett is tested to levels she wasn’t expecting and must find a darker place her own criminal father Frank (Meaney) put in her. She takes a more nonsense approach to anyone who tries to take anything from her.

Verdict on Duchess

Duchess is an action thriller following a woman who finds herself drawn into the gangster life. However, the lifestyle catches up with her and she sets out on a mission for revenge.

This action movie brings us a nonsense killer from a different background into the gangster world. She goes on a rampage dealing with anyone who has crossed her and doesn’t want to stop until she gets revenge. It is a wildly entertaining over-the-top action movie that delivers. Even if it is something we have seen similar, it embraces the gangster life more than most. Charlotte Kirk is great in the leading role and unleashes the crazy side to her character.
