DTC P0100 and DTC P0101 are both related to issues with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
DTC P0100: Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Meaning: This code indicates a problem with the electrical circuit of the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine, which is critical for the engine control unit (ECU) to determine the proper air-fuel ratio.

What to Do if DTC P0101 is Detected


1. Check for Air Leaks: Inspect the intake system for any leaks. Ensure all hoses and connections are secure and not damaged.
2. Inspect the Air Filter: Check the air filter for dirt or blockages. Replace it if necessary.
3. Clean the MAF Sensor: The MAF sensor can become dirty over time. Carefully remove it and clean it with a MAF sensor cleaner. Do not use any other type of cleaner as it might damage the sensor.
4. Inspect Wiring and Connectors: Check the wiring and connectors for any signs of damage or corrosion. Repair or replace as needed.
