Alleged invitation by the Division of State Service to the Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese Mathew Hassan Kukah has been debunked.
The Director Social Communication Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Reverend Father Christopher Omotosho stated no such invitation was prolonged to the person of God.
He requested members of the general public to disregard the hearsay.
"The information that the Bishop was summoned for questioning by the DSS concerning his Christmas message can't be true as a result of the Bishop is but to obtain both name or mail from the DSS." Omotosho stated
Over the weekend, social media was agog with experiences that the clergyman has been invited by the DSS over his feedback concerning the Presidency. The Youth Wing of the Christians Affiliation of Nigeria had threatened to mobilize Christian youths throughout the nation to accompany the bishop to the DSS Headquarters in Abuja.
