In case you haven’t heard about this, some few months ago, Facebook introduced free basics to some part of the world.

According to Facebook: Free Basics makes the internet accessible to more people by providing them access to a range of free basic services like news, maternal health, travel, local jobs, sports, communication, and local government information.

The Free Basics platform gives you the ability to surf the web and browse the internet free of charge without paying your network provider.

Now millions of internet users have already started using the free basic platform to surf the web for free. And as a smart blogger, taking advantage of this should come to mind.

If you’re a blogger and have not listed your blog with the free basics platform, you should consider adding it today using these simple steps as prescribe here.

Drive Traffic To Your Blog Using Facebook Free Basic

Before applying to get your blog listed to the Free-basics, there are some things you should note;

If you’re using JavaScript on your blog, it won’t work on the platform. Why? Facebook wants to give its users a good experience, so they automatically disabled some features that might give its users a bad experience.

If you are using Google Adsense or any third-party ad that need JavaScript to work, those ads won’t work when people view your blog through Facebook Free-basics.

If your blog is not mobile-friendly, if your blog is not well crafted, if you are using a sub-domain, you won’t get approved. But if your blog is free from these problems, you’re good to go.
