Clothes Finder App | Live Your Fashion Dreams

If you thought online shopping is the height of fashion technology, think again.

According to the latest trends, the Clothes finder app is the new wave in London's fashion technology.

The concept is simple- if you see someone wearing a beautiful dress, take a sneaky snap of the outfit and let the clothes finder app search the dress for you. It will show you the same item, or similar items, to purchase. It gives suggestions from where you can buy something similar.

It means you no longer have to gather up the courage to ask a stranger where they got their incredible Little Black Dress from.

The clothes finder app uses image-recognition technology. This software has been used in security and marketing for a number of years. But the move into fashion is seen as one of the first steps in widespread fashion technology.

Asap54 helps to find clothes that you like around you in the physical world. You take a picture of them with your phone and let the app find you that exact piece, along with a bunch of others that are similar. ASAP54 was officially launched in the year 2017

Daniela Cecilio, founder of ASAP54 said,

The app was born out of frustration of not being able to find a pair of Chanel sunglasses she'd seen on someone.

It was launched during London fashion week in September 2012. When a picture is taken of a shoe or a piece of clothing, the software analyses it by looking at the color, pattern, and shape, and tries to find a match on an existing database of products from 170 sellers. They range from high street retailers to luxury London department store Harrods.

The groundwork of Snap Fashion was started at the University of Bristol in southwest England.

Numerous players are trying to reach the tipping point in the field of clothes finder app but none has succeeded fully. Glitches happen, as fashion from a technical perspective is very difficult for image recognition.

Mark Hughes co-founder of Style-Eyes said,

You may not find the excat outfit sometimes. Clothes change depending on the way someone is sitting or from the direction the picture has been taken.

Well, people are still in wait for a clothes finder app that works without any glitch.
