From Luppolo Brewing in East Vancouver comes their "Double IPA". The beer pours a mildly cloudy golden colour with a white head. The aroma consists of juicy hops, tropical fruit, citrus and floral hops. The flavour is of a nice resin forefront with earth, tropical fruit, citrus, bitterness and some alcohol. The alcohol content comes in at 8% with an IBU around 75. The Double IPA has a lingering flavour which is good as it is a very tasty beer.
Commercial Description: This Double IPA is heavily hopped, yet well-balanced. Five northwest hop varieties provide aromas of peach, melon, and citrus zest. A low level of bitterness makes this high ABV beer dangerously drinkable.
