Double Decadence Style Pizza

By Tejal Hewitt @Tejal_x

Have you ever had the Dominos Double decadence Pizzas? When I’ve watched Dominos make these lighter pizza, they use thin tortilla sandwich with garlic and herb sauce in between the layers then the normal pizza toppings on the top. Looks simple, so here is my version of the double decadence pizza.

You can use any topping you like, but as a proud vegetarian I went for normal veggies! Actually this style of pizza is lighter than normal pizza, as the tortilla are very thin and lower in fat than regular pizza crust. When you are in a rush, it’s a quick fix as making fresh pizza dough takes a little time.

Ingredients
2 Soft Tortilla
2 Tbsp Garlic and herb sauce
1 Tsbp Tomato Puree
1/2 Tsp Italian herbs
1 Tbsp hot water
100g Mozzarella
Tomato
Onion
Sweetcorn
Black Olives
Baby Spinach

Pre-heat the oven at 200c, then lay down a tortilla wrap on a baking tray

Spread garlic and herb sauce over the tortilla

In a bowl add tomato purée, italian herbs and hot water and then stir well.

Lay another tortilla over the garlic and herb tortilla. Spread the tomato purée mix over the second tortilla.

Sprinkle on the mozzarella shredded cheese over the tomato purée sauce.

Add pizza topping of your choice on the tortilla pizza, I used olives, onions, tomatoes, sweet corn and baby spinach.

Bake in the oven at 200c for 10-12 minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy
