Aprilia Tuono 457 may be launched in February in India, putting an end to speculations. The bike is already listed on Aprilia India's official website. Again, some dealers of the company have started booking. It is also expected to be a hit in the country like RS457. Media invites for the bike have been sent out on February 17-18. That is, it is assumed that the official launch will be at that time.
The Aprilia Tuono 457 is coming in February
This Tuono 457 is actually the naked version of Aprilia's full-faired sports bike, the RS 457, launched in India last year. As a result, it also has a 457 cc parallel twin engine. Which is capable of producing 47.55 PS and 43.5 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. A B-directional quickshifter may be an option.
Being a naked bike, the Tuono 457 is fairing free and offers a more upright and comfortable riding position. The sporty triple full-LED headlamp cluster adds to the cool look. The Aprilia Tuono 457 will come in Piranha Red and Puma Gray color options. Interesting features like full-LED lighting, traction control, ride mode, smartphone connectivity, color TFT console will be available.
Suspension duties on Aprilia's new motorcycle will be handled by a pre-load adjustable USD (upside down) fork and monoshock unit. Both wheels have disc brakes. The bike will ride on 17 inch wheels. Its rivals in the Indian market are KTM 390 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Yamaha MT-03.
