Verdict on Doctor Jekyll

Doctor Jekyll is a horror thriller following a young man trying to turn his life around. He finds himself taking a new role caring for an estranged woman. However, when things start getting out of hand, he is left with a difficult decision.

This is a unique spin on the well-known characters. It brings everything back into a more human vision of the characters. While keeping the monstrous side to Hyde. The world is built extremely well, and Eddie Izzard is incredible as the titular character. However, it does feel like we could have had a little bit more in terms of shocking moments. It keeps a little too much human and not enough in the crazed version of what Hyde is meant to be.
