Do You Want To Win A Book?

By Imagineer @ImagineerTeam

Free Competition Soon To End!

As the bog’s following continues to grow significantly every day, it seems only right to remind everybody that you have the chance to win a real, live book – not an ebook – by Jen Christopherson!  Just race on over to the original post and leave a comment!  Of course, it would be kind of nice if your comment was related to the contents of the post, but it doesn’t have to be.  You never know, you might be the lucky winner!  Jen is willing to post to anywhere, too, which is rare these days.  The competition ends on 31st May, 2013, so time’s running out.  Jen will let us know who the winner is a few days after that date.

Remember, you have to in it to win it!

And In Other News…

If you haven’t discovered it yet, I write occasional posts on my general blog, Ramblings & Rumblings, on all manner of things.  If you have the vaguest interest in my life outside of writing, then you might like to take a quick peek.  The last post there almost made it to here, but I had to strike while the brain was feverish, so it ended up there instead.  Still, while it’s not specifically about books or the book world, it does concern nasty characters online, who threaten our activities, and I hope that it might be mildly amusing to boot!

While speaking of R&R, I’ve just rehashed it a bit, to make use of the WordPress ‘custom menu’ system, much as I did here.  If you have visited before, you’ll find that it looks a little different.  It also now carries a direct link to Imagineer-ing in the top menu.

The New Tale

The third tale in the G1: The Guardians series of mild horror/supernatural/occult/future fiction stories is progressing a bit faster now.  This is because I introduced a modicum of self-discipline and I felt rather foolish that the cover is ready before the book is!  That latter fact isn’t uncommon for me, as such, but I had asked my son to produce the illustration part of it, pointing out to him that I’d slowed down my writing to give him time.  In my defence, he didn’t mention the fact that he was about to have a week’s holiday from work.  Now, I’m playing catch up!  I still intend this to involve my first ever ‘cover reveal’ for one of my own works.  The ebook will be sent to Amazon on the same day as the cover reveal, so there may be a slight delay before the book itself is available following the reveal post.  It’s also my hope to be able to arrange for a point of contact for my son, for anybody interested in procuring his services for their own books.

More Paperbacks In The Pipeline

Yes indeed.  Two more of my novelettes are being processed for appearance in paperback format!  They are The Ossilan Affair (second in the Captain Duschelle tales) and Evil Under The Circle (second in the G1: The Guardians series).  Both will be available through skoobebooks when the time comes.  They will also be at the same price and shipping as For the Sake of Mercy.
