DIY Gold Office Decor.

By Samantha Curtis @hooahandhiccups

Happy hump day friends! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. This week has been kind of crazy but hey, what week isn’t? I’m shooting with my photographer this morning, hosting a Google Hangout tonight, and am embarking on a new, super fun journey. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you may know that I am now offering a blog mentorship program! I’ve been wanting to do something like this forever and I decided that it was finally the right time. I’ll be talking more about this program later this week or early next week so check back for details on that

But today I wanted to share a quick little craft I did in like, 15 minutes. We stopped over my Nana’s house when I was in Ohio a few weeks ago and I saw this phone sitting on her old nightstand, not in use. I asked her if I could have it because I had a vision to spray paint it gold and add it to my office as decor.

Doesn’t it look amazing? Never underestimate something at a thrift store, garage sale, etc. Spray paint is always there to save the day! And I’m telling you right now, gold spray paint is addictive. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

And while we’re on the subject of office decor, I put together a list of some of the other office supplies and decor I’m eyeing. My office is currently half office/half playroom, but I’m hoping in my next house I will have an entire room all to myself. Until then, a girl can dream. Or a girl can add shelves on the walls where the kids can’t touch her stuff. Sometimes you have to get creative, right?

Have a great day! xo
