DIY Gold Etagere Bookcase

I've been in love with the gold etagere bookcases for awhile now.  I knew I wanted to add one to my home.
   
And since, sadly, we don't have an Ikea nearby to buy Vittsjo shelving unit and give it a good spray paint, I went with the next best thing.

I found this used shelf for cheap.  It was perfect!

Yeah, I actually found two of the same one.  But the space could only fit the one.  I'm okay with it.  I actually love it!
