DIY: Easy St. Pat’s Mani

By Sars @RockinAroundThe

A St. Pat’s mani will ensure that nobody pinches you for not rocking green on St. Patrick’s Day.

I’m not into nail art at all, I like a chic simple manicure… all one color.  However, since everybody gets loose on St. Patty’s Day, I figured I should loosen up too.  Here’s how to turn out an insanely easy, but festive manicure.

You’ll need white and green nail polish, a topcoat, and a pencil with a pushpin in the eraser (DIY dotting tool).  For white polish, I used Covergirl’s “Snow Storm” (#110)… it’s my fave white nail polish ever.  I don’t love Kelly Green, so I went with a nice spring green which is Essie’s “Navigate Her”.  I also went with Essie’s “Good To Go” topcoat because it’s amazing, it completely dries your nails.

Paint all of your nails white, I like to use two coats.  Let them dry completely.

Use the dotting tool to create an X, and round the edges so it resembles a four-leaf clover.  Add a little stem!  Let your clover dry, then finish each nail off with the topcoat.

I know, I’m not that skilled when it comes to nail art… but I think this mani is cute.  It’s simple, it’s not obnoxious, and it’s chic.  Keep it classy this St. Pat’s.
