DIY: Book Origami

I do have to admit I have a thing for origami. So when I first saw these book origami hanging from a bookshop window here in Barcelona I was so tempted. But, it was not until the images from Lotta Agaton's styling  for String came out that I decided to give it a go.Here you can see the shape inspired by Tom Dixon's Etch tea light holders but the variations are just infinite. The process is simple: you need to fold the corner of each page towards the center of the book. The dimension of the space left between the triangles will define the shape of the book origami. I suggest to go for a thick book with thick pages in order to have a more volume.  
Try to keep at least 4-5 cm on the short side of the book because this will be the base of the origami and will help to make it stand. And now, fold.. fold.. fold!
