Diy Blogging Organizer

By Teaantoast @teaantoastblog
Creating two separate blogs and keeping them organised is going to be a little tricky I can imagine. I love organisation and above all I love stationary (a trip to WHSmith is the equivalent to a child in a toy shop, I LOVE IT!) So when I was thinking about how on earth am I going to cram everything in and keep on top of everything I got massively excited about the idea of a blogger planner/diary/calender/organiser thingy. So I decided to make one.

I had this plain bright yellow notebook that I was given a few years ago when I went to a Selfridges event and yes it's a lovely sturdy notebook I hear you say, but I'm a sucker for anything cute and patterned. I had some left over wrapping paper and thought what better way to make use of it than to spruce up this plain notebook.

So here is how I made my blogging planner/notebook/calender/thingy...

This was easy peasy lemon squeezy!

You'll then have something that looks like this...

When cutting around the lines remember to leave some access paper to fold over and glue down (I left roughly about 2cm)...

Once all the paper is stuck down, pop holes into the side (you can just poke a pen through the paper to the original holes or use a hole punch)

And wallahhh!!! A covered notebook, did anyone else used to cover their school books when they were little? I wanted to make a little pocket for business cards, invitations or any important bits of paper I need to keep hold of so using some other wrapping paper I had left over I did just that...

I then drew a really bad laptop on the front just because I couldn't stop being "creative". I've also drew out weekly planners and pages for notes inside on the other pages. I've used one half of the notebook for Tea An Toast and the other for A Girl in Visual Therapy. I spent most of last week sitting down planning out blog posts for the next 6 weeks, yaaay me for organisation woop woop!!

Have you ever customised anything before?

With Love,
