Diwali Treats – DIY

By Tejal Hewitt @Tejal_x

There is nothing more satisfying then making your own Diwali presents, specially after spending the best of the week making homemade Diwali sweets and treats.

In cup cake cases I put 2-3 of the following Plain Penda, Chocolate Penda, Milk Burfi Chocolate Balls, Kaju Kutli, Kaju Ladoo, Coconut Ladoo, Nan khatai, Chocolate Nan Khatai, Diwali Flapjack and Diwali Flapjacks.

I arranged the sweets in a cake tin or basket

Wrapped up in cellophane and tied ribbon to secure.

They make lovely presents adding that personalised touch.

They are the first in Diwali Hampers I’ve created, hopefully next year I can improve and make them bigger and better!

For the kids I made sweet cones, using cone cellophane bags and filling with sweets and chocolates.
