Divine Help: Seven Reasons Why You Need Help

1) Man was not created to be a lone ranger
Genesis 2:18 KJV
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

2) When help is lacking or absent, sweat, result less labors and struggles is the order of the day.
Genesis 31:4-7 KJV
4.And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock, 5And said unto them, I see your father’s countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me.6 And ye know that with all my power I have served your father. 7And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

3) In the absence of help, life stagnates and destiny is threatened.
John 5:5, 7 KJV
5. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 7The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

4) No matter how gifted or endowed you are in life, without help you cannot shine or be fully expressed

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

5) With help, a man with little or nothing can command outstanding results and success
2 Chronicles 26:15 KJV
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

6) Help brings along with it speed and a collapse of time
Exodus 2:16-18 KJV
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.17  And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. 18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

7) Help overrules disqualification and qualifies the hitherto unqualified.
1 Kings 1:11-14 KJV
11.  Wherefore Nathan spake unto Bath–sheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth it not? 12 Now therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon. 13 Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign? 14 Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee, and confirm thy words.
