Disney Interactive is now planning to take gaming to the next level with a brand new cross-platform gaming ToyBox named Disney Infinity, that brings a lot of popular characters from Disney and Pixar Animations all together, including Mr. Incredible, Capt. Jack Sparrow, Mike Wazowski and many more.
“Disney Infinity introduces a new way to interact with the best of Disney on one game platform, both now and in the future,” said John Pleasants, co-president, Disney Interactive. “With this innovative approach to gaming,Disney Infinity will bring to life new characters, stories and environments from The Walt Disney Company over time in a way that will delight fans and gamers alike.”
Gamers will get to interact with seventeen character figures in ToyBox mode, combining figurines and “power discs” with the game world while following its’ story line. These “power discs” can be used to power up characters and customize the game. Disney Infinity will arrive in 3 play sets titled – Monsters University, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Incredibles, when it arrives in stores in June.
