After releasing their first single via a phone-in number, The Dismemberment Plan release their second single, “Invisible” as a more conventional soundcloud upload.  It carries with memorable choruses and the kind of verses that only confuse you the first few times you hear them only to have their genius revealed at a later time that have made the D-plan one of the most perplexing but rewarding band of the past few decades.  Still, Travis Morrison sings about the capriciousness of young adult life—”I thought I’d be working in midtown, a winner / and now I’m biting my nails and I’m calling it dinner.”  Uncanney Valley, their first album in 12 years will be out October 15.
