When I was a kid, I used to count all kinds of different vehicles that drives by the main road. Back then it was easy because there weren’t much vehicles passing by. But, now I can’t even think about counting it because there’s so many. It’s no wonder the environmental pollution has gone high. Have you ever wondered how many vehicles are there in the world? Well, according to a report, the number of cars in the world has surpassed the 1 Billion mark just a couple of years ago. That’s right. It’s a big capital B.

The data was collected by a study done by Ward’s Auto, which states that the global number of cars exceeded 1.015 billion in 2010. Its been almost 3 years since that report so you can imagine a big increase in that number. The HuffingtonPost points out that China has dropped to the second place on the list of most car population with over 78 million vehicles, placing the U.S. on top for having over 239 million cars across states.
