Dianna, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, London

By Davis Landscape Architecture @DavisLandArch

The Dianna, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain was designed by Kathryn Gustafson and built as a memorial to Princess Diana. The intention of the design was to reflect the various aspects of her life. This is mirrored in the memorial by the way the water behaves in a variety of ways as it passes through the water feature.

The water feature is constructed of Cornish granite and as visitors to the fountain are encouraged to engage with the water feature. The surface of the granite has been beautifully textured to provide a non slip surface, particularly important when wet.
