Destination Intimate Wedding in Paphos with Rustic Details | Natalie & Rhys

By Eleni Balkouli @Love4Wed

Today we’re sharing with you the destination wedding of Natalie and Rhys! These two wanted to create an intimate celebration to seal their love, so they chose Vasilias Nikoklis Inn, a beautiful wedding venue in Paphos with rustic vibes. For the decoration they picked wooden details and small bouquets with fresh white flowers. An all-white wedding was ideal for such a lovely venue, surrounded with the greenery natural beauty. The lovely couple exchanged vows in the garden of the venue, in front of a wooden arch adorned with tulle curtains. The day was filled with emotions, positive energy and fun! See all the sweet moments through the snapshots below!

The bride shared with us: “We met at a mutual friend’s wedding; Rhys was the best man. After a few drinks and a lot of convincing i agreed to dance with him and the rest is history. Rhys proposed after 3 years together on a glamping weekend down in Cornwall. We were all dressed up and booked into a fancy restaurant, but the nerves got the better of him, so he decided to propose in the tent whilst we were waiting for the taxi- it was perfect.”

“The ceremony took place in Vasilias Nikoklis Inn on the outskirts of Paphos Cyprus.”

“When we decided on a destination wedding one of the most important factors was that we wanted to have something that was intimate and remote with a rustic and traditional charm, Vasilias captured that perfectly.”

“We decided on an all-white wedding as the venue was so beautiful and had so much greenery and vibrant flowers that we just wanted to keep it simple.”

“I chose a dress by Mikella Bridalwear, it had a very fitted silhouette with a flare and a front center split.”

“I actually did not pick my flowers and it was left to as a surprise until the day! My Florist Maria at Aliki Flower shop was amazing! I told her what our theme was and sent her a photo of my wedding dress and she did the rest. The flowers were exactly how imagined, and they smelt beautiful and lasted for days after the wedding.”

“Again, we wanted to keep it simple, so we opted for a white table setting with a floral decoration. We decided on a long table plan and we sat in the middle of all of our guests – we had better together chair signs with greenery and white roses. For our table settings we decided on funny polaroid pictures of our guests to add a personal touch.”

“There was so any highlights for the day but our favorite moment was when the Dj played Acache – Jump on it as it got everybody up dancing and is also the song that got us up dancing when we first met.”

“Don’t stress over the little things, everything will come together in the end and even if it doesn’t it won’t matter in the end.”
