Dr. D. Venkateshwaran, Deputy High Commissioner (DHC) of Sri Lanka met ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth, a world renowned actor from South India, at his residence on May 29.
During the meeting, DHC invited Rajinikanth to visit Sri Lanka as his presence would enhance cinema-induced tourism as well as spiritual and wellness tourism.
Also, as an iconic personality, Rajinikanth’s charisma will reinforce historical relations and reinforce the bridge between both the destinations. DHC also personally invited him to explore the ‘Ramayana Trail’ as it is exclusive to Sri Lanka and other prime Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka.
