NFTs are already utilized in the restaurant business, but a new project aims to implement them in the lobster supply chain. Yes, lobsters! This comes after web3 startup OneOf announced a new relationship with ‘Get Maine Lobster’ delivery service. Together, they will establish an NFT-based membership for lobster delivery.
The campaign, titled Lobster Perks Plus, will be conducted annually and has multiple stages. The Captain’s Club Plus, which costs $350 and includes eight lobster tails, an enhanced side order, and a lobster butter-scented candle for the first 200 clients, is one of these options. Another option is the $2,000 ‘Diamond Club,’ which provides lobster deliveries to up to five people every year.
Those who purchase into either tier will be joined into sweepstakes where they can win prizes and enjoy perks. People who are working on this project hope that this move will bring new ideas to the way people are engaged.
