Delight in Chevron

Where flowers bloom, so does hope -- Lady Bird Johnson

The Dendrobium orchid flower buds blossomed one by one and they are two sprays of them now. Pale pink so sweet. I like! But I just wish they are more orchids.

The other orchid that is in bloom is the Phalaenopsis bellina, called The Beautiful Orchid. The flower also blossomed one by one.

Polygonum capitatum or commonly known as Pink Knotweed, a volunteer plant or rather weed that just left it grow to trail down the container.

The leaves have a chevron marking on it. Lovely when in bloom as the shrub is crowded with pink pinheads.

After a very heavy rain, I saw a ripen black berry! Botanically named Morus nigra, the little shrub's heart-shaped leaves are more obvious than the fruits as they are big, hence hiding the fruits.

The most robust and plant of all is Euphorbia millii, also known as Crown of Thorns. This one has pretty small pink blooms.

Berries of Rivina humilis or Pigeon Berry plant -- oh yeah! They are so small yet so bright. I love berry-bearing plants!

Last but not least, the top of a really sweet pineapple that I had the other day is already rooting. Well, I am just doing this for the fun of it. No space actually to grow a pineapple in my garden :-P

Nonetheless, happy gardening!
