Defending Paul

Introduction

Paul was a Jew by birth. His name was Saul. He was born in Tarsus of Cilicia but brought up in the city of Jerusalem. He learned Moses law from Gamaliel (Acts 22:3). He was one of the Jews who persecuted Christians. But later he was called by Jesus Christ to teach good news. His name was changed to Paul. He is called thirteenth apostle of Christ.
Many people accuse Paul as a false prophet. They say his teachings are his invented lies. They also say that his teaching were different from those of other apostles. This post proves that their accusations are false.
Proofs to defend Paul

Following are some verses from the Bible that defend Paul. Following verses are taken from New Heart English Bible:
1. Peter was the head of the church that time. In following verses Peter tells us that Paul’s letters are difficult to understand but his teaching are same as those of his and other apostles. Secondly he warns us not listen to those who teach that Paul is a liar.
Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you; as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness. 2 Peter 3:15-17
2. Following verses tell what Jesus told Ananias regarding Paul
But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he
did to your saints at Jerusalem. Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the sons of Israel. For I will show him how
many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”  Acts 9: 13-16

Conclusion
From these two proofs we come to know that Paul is true apostle of Jesus Christ. All those teach that Paul is false teacher are actually themselves false teachers. Their teaching are not according to teachings of Jehovah.
