By Emma @glasgowfoodie

Dippy is in Glasgow and over 250,000 people have said hello. Have you been yet?

There's isn't long left to see Dippy in Glasgow before he's off on his next tour stop ( Newcastle, Click here for info).

Dippy is huge, the full Diplodocus skeleton on display is an impressive 26 metres long, 4.3 metres wide and 4.17 metres high. In real life Dippy is thought to have weighed 13 tonnes!

Diplodocus carnegii is named after Scottish philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. The replica is made from plaster of Paris and resin and has a total of 292 bones (we didn't count them!).
