This little boy looked like what I was looking for to replace my finished Badger Cuticle Care Balm. I opted for it because the stick packaging looked very handy and practical, indeed after using it I can confirm that assumption. The first feature I have to highlight about this moisture stick is the scent.
Oh My...!! It smells of Paradise, a clean and fresh breeze, some gentle dew on newborn leaves... it's amazing! I tried to distinguish the leading nuances but the perfume is so well built that it results so difficult to discern. Anyway, apart from the smart packaging and the idyllic scent, this product does little to moisture cuticles and dry skin in general, sorry to realize that and say it.
Easy to understand it though, taking a quick look at the list of ingredients:
Organic Glycine Soja (Soy) Oil, Infusion of Organic Herbs; Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Leaf Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Cucumis Melo (Honeydew) Fruit Extract, Beeswax, Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Organic Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Aroma (Organic and Wildcrafted Essential Oil Blend), Tocopherol (Vitamin E) NaturalAs you can see, there is only a vegetal oil (soy, hence not so nurturing) in the first positions, then there are a lot of vegetal extracts and only towards the end of the list we have beeswax and vegetal butters. This product is not well formulated, to deal with chopped skin or damned cuticles you need a tough heavier composition, this is just gonna soothe your skin and give her a beautiful smell. That's it. There is no way I could compare this to Badger Balm, Deep Steep's one is far from reaching its results.
