Deep Down’s allegedly infinite dungeon generator will vary depending on “emotion”.
In a Facebook post translated by Gematsu, Capcom explained a little more about the theme of emotion running through the game.
Apparently there will “great numbers” of emotions, and dungeons will vary depending on which ones it represents. As an example, angry dungeons might be full of fire, while sad dungeons will be icy.
The dungeon’s emotions will affect how it can be won, and the mementos – residual thoughts – found within will be depend on emotion, too.
