One of the best parts about fall is undeniably fall mani pedis. While OPI’s “I’m Not Really a Waitress” and Essie’s “Wicked” are trusted standbys for rich red and burgundy manicures, this season the it polishes are taking a turn towards the cool. Navy, emeralds and other cooler hues (think plum and violet rather than bordeaux and apple read) reign supreme on your digits, and the current queen of luxury nail polish Deborah Lippmann’s fall collection is no exception. Lippmann, an avid jewelry lover and admirer was inspired by all things sparkling to create her “Jewel Heist” line for Fall 2013.

The Deborah Lippmann Jewel Heist collection includes six shades: Shake Your Money Maker is a blue-green based mega glitter formula with bold chunks of emerald aqua and gold. Glitter and be Gay is a chunky gold glitter (duh) formula with smaller specks of cobalt blue and a hint of aqua. The third glitter formula is Va Va Voom, a bright royal blue with holographic violet glitter. The creamy Fake it Til You Make it is a pale gold with miniscule multicolor specks of glitter in aqua and red, while an iridescent velvety emerald is called Laughin’ to the Bank. Per its moniker, Rolling in the Deep is as moody and sultry as Adele’s song in a midnight navy. Lippmann told Elle she was inspired by her favorite baubles to create this collection, saying “I love jewelry and am always inspired by beautiful jewel tones, especially for fall. This collection includes luxurious hues of gold, emerald and sapphire—it’s like wearing jewelry on your nails, but you can do it yourself.”

We say why stop at wearing jewelry on your nails when you can also wear it on your fingers? In the form of a fabulous, color coordinated cocktail ring, no less. Mix and match the hues of each nail polish with various gemstone cocktail rings to create a luxurious look for fall. Might we suggest pairing any of these with the green leather Kenneth Cole Moto jacket or Tory Burch’s tweed and leather heeled booties? Or maybe Any of these gemstone cocktail rings can either match perfectly with the nail polish or contrast gorgeously with their color when opposite, so our entire selection is mix and match.
