This year, will probably be similar, but Deborah Ann will also be participating in the True Blood Panel which is Friday, July 22, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Ballroom 20. Below is part of a short interview with The Hollywood Report:
Geek Cred: True Blood
THR: What panel would you stand in line all day for?
Woll: RiffTrax with Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. I own so many movies that I’m ashamed I own specifically because I have a RiffTrax that goes with them. They always do a panel with a live RiffTrax. Last year, we had our True Blood panel and the RiffTrax panel was right afterward. I dashed offstage, went backstage and changed into my Hit-Girl outfit, stuffed my designer dress in a duffle bag and ran to their panel.
THR: What stands out from your first Comic-Con experience?
Woll: We were doing our first season signing at the WB booth and they brought us up on this platform above the crowds. It was jaw-dropping to look out and see that milelong convention floor. One thing that always strikes me about Comic-Con is how cooperative and kind fans are; you don’t worry about being mugged or a fight breaking out with anyone because everybody is so respectful of this event.
THR: What makes for a good panel?
Woll: My favorite panels are always the ones were they just let the guests talk: How they go about creating their art; what their process is. I love hearing people talk about their process either an artist, writer, actor or director.
