Today at the New York City Comic Con, True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll will be a member of the panel for her new Netflix’s show, “DAREDEVIL.”

Deborah’s boyfriend, EJ Scott is attending and he posted about Deborah and the panel on his facebook page. If you’re going to the panel, we’d love to hear from you all about it.  Please contact us at “tips@trueblood-online.com.

Today’s the day Marvel’s first Netflix venture goes public. Daredevil represents the first of four series (to be followed by a miniseries combining them) based on key Marvel Comics characters coming as original programming to Netflix. The others include Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage who will all come later and share the same self-contained shared continuity based in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. And yes, all of these characters and their stories all take place in the same larger Marvel Cinematic Universe that the movies and ABC TV shows do as well.

As a series shooting and taking place in New York (where Marvel is also headquartered), it’s rather fitting that New York Comic-Con be the host to the show’s very first panel, taking place this afternoon at 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM EST (at Main Stage 1-D in the Javits Center). Here the cast of Daredevil will be joined by showrunner Steve DeKnight and Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb to make some announcements and answer fan questions.

Since production began on Daredevil this summer we hope to see some footage and the first look at Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock suited up in the Daredevil costume. Marvel released the logo for the series recently and Netflix just put up the Daredevil info page on their network with the final design of the logo alongside the plot synopsis for the program.

Official Daredevil synopsis:

“Marvel’s Daredevil” is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.
