This week is bananas.  B-a-n-a-n-a-s.  With Death Cab for Cutie playing three shows at the Beacon Theatre (with a full orchestra), The Shins and Miike Snow both playing three nights at Terminal 5, plus shows by Alex Winston, Here We Go Magic, and Cold Cave, there’s no way any music fans can get away with not checking out a show this week.  This is absolutely the best week for indie music in New York City in at least the past year.  Which shows are you trying to go to?

Thanks for checking out our suggested New York City indie concerts list!  We won’t list everything that’s going on — just a short collection of great shows happening in our city that you shouldn’t miss this week.  And to make it as easy for you as possible, you can listen to all the bands and sometimes get some free MP3s!
