Much to our excitement, Death Cab for Cutie released a lyric video for their newest song “Black Sun” yesterday, the first single off their forthcoming record Kitsungi. Featuring their signature melodic structure and instrumental builds, “Black Sun” is a solid edition to the band’s catalog and leaves us anticipating what awaits on the rest of the album (set for release on March 31). This is particularly true given that Kitsungi is their first release since parting ways with songwriter, guitarist, and founding member Chris Walla.
