Verdict on Deadpool & Wolverine

Deadpool & Wolverine is the third installment of The Merc with a Mouth and this time he teams up with Logan. They must put their differences aside to save the universe and overcome their personal problems along the way.

It has been years since we first saw a version of Wade Wilson and Logan team up, in the heavily panned X-Men Wolverine Origins. Now, both are considered two of the best versions of the characters and we are left wondering if they can team up. The answer is yes, the buddy partnership shows the pairs excellent chemistry. This is the best and most fun part of the movie.

We go get a host of guest appearances that were kept secret, which get a few laughs. However, one action sequence is shot really badly and becomes hard to keep up with what is going on. The villain felt largely forgettable because they needed a lot more work to bring out what makes them a threat. We don’t get nearly enough time with the original characters, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus, who have been key to the success of the first two. In the end, it can get away with the weaknesses because of Ryan Reynolds’s charisma and Hugh Jackman adds to that too.

Final ThoughtsDeadpool & Wolverine is a lot of fun and great entertainment.
