If you are looking for great tasting food without the huge price tag then Brewers Fayre is sure worth a visit.
At Brewers Fayre our aim is simple - 'To serve our guests the nation's favourite pub food, at great value prices, in a family friendly environment.'
We want our restaurants to be easily accessible; a place that you can visit for any occasion, without having to worry about booking in advance. We want to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can take your time ordering at the bar, then relax and enjoy yourself at the table while our team does the rest.
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you arrive; we like to create an atmosphere that is easy-going and informal that is why we encourage you to choose your own table, you don't need us to tell you where to sit! Our menus offer a huge variety of dishes; something for everyone to enjoy, because our name tells you that food is at the heart of our brand.
Great food demands great service; once you've placed your order at the bar we'll make sure that there is always a team member ready to serve you when you need something. To create that relaxed atmosphere we always have the lighting, background music and temperature set at the perfect levels.
Our aim is simple - to do our job properly so that you'll come back to visit us again and again!

Picture the scene, you have picked the kids up from school, its the nearly the end of the week and the thought of cooking just sounds exhausting. I believe Brewers Faye offers excellent service, quality tasting food whether it's a special occasion or,like me you just felt like a change.

Taking a trip to our local Brewers Fayre, The Rhubarb Triangle in Wakefield, West Yorkshire with my children and four adults this is one of the chains that does not have a play area so I was not sure how happy the kids would be.

On arrival, we were taken to our table its good to know that you can book on-line to avoid disappointment and waiting times, checking out the daytime menu as shown below is some examples of what you can choose. Now, its important to know my family can be quite fussy when it comes to picking and choosing their food, so some of our choices where not from the daytime menu.

Enjoy two delicious dishes (and the same generous portions!) from our main menu from just £10. 12-5pm Monday - Friday (check local site for specific times). Choose from:Smothered ChickenFish** and ChipsBreaded Wholetail Scampi^^Beef LasagneGrilled Gammon SteakRed Pepper and Caramelised Red Onion Quiche (v)Sausage, Egg and ChipsGrilled Chicken and Bacon SaladSausage and MashChicken Tikka MasalaThe Brewers Fayre BurgerThe South Western BurgerSpinach and Ricotta LasagneThe New Yorker Burger (upgrade for only 99p per person)Half Rack of Ribs (upgrade for only 99p per person)6oz* Rump Steak (upgrade for only 99p per person)Atlantic Cod** and Chips (upgrade for only 99p per person)

Kids activity comic is jam packed full of puzzles, games and more.

For the purpose of this review we had chosen a selection of food to show you other foods too but if you stick to daytime 2 for £10 you cant go wrong, two of us had the -
Red Pepper and Caramelised Red Onion Quiche with Jacket Potato.I would of had this as-well and my hubby but as I say wanted to show you the variety of food so would of been £20 for four adults which is fantastic but if you want to go for some others such as The Taste Of classic American - New-
Chilli Cheese Dog

My Husband really enjoyed the hot dog as it had chillies in this and was nice to see then just a normal one.
Quorn burger with fries and coleslaw

I am a Vegetarian and love Quorn so when I spotted this yummy burger sure had to give it a try, what was so nice and different to this one is the delicious kick to the burger from the spicy sauce gave it an extra element.
Very happy to see some nice chips plus coleslaw to accompany the meal.

Sides can be added for for as little as £1.99

Kids Meals From £3.99

POPIN' CHICKEN
Chicken, chips and baked beanos
Alfie is the one we have problems with getting him to eat anything good form him, but was very pleased to see him try the chicken even dunking his chips into the beans.
Although Alfie did not eat every last bit personally was nice to see him eat something good for him.
If you have a child like my 3 year old they have so much to choose from on the kids menu including mini burger / spaghetti bolognese / hot dog / grilled chicken plus more.

SAUSAGE ‘N’ MASHSausage, mash and peas - veggie sausages available

Unlimited refills are the key when it comes to the drinks as you can keep going back for more and can save you a far penny!

As a huge fan of Costa Coffee nice to see that I can still get my coffee fix.
You can also get two desserts for £2.50 what a bargain!

With all the meals you do get good portion sizes the only problem came across is not having a play area, with two kids one being 3 years it was a little bit of a task to keep him occupied even with the colouring activity sheets. The place was nice and clean and very inviting and even had a nice area to sit outside and have a meal on a sunny day.
Good service on a whole bar one staff member who just did not want to help us out with a voucher code it was us that ended up saying "well can we have a word with the manager" it did get sorted in the end thanks to the kind manager.
As a family we try to look for the best value restaurants having two kids, one of which is a fussy eater. Its important to not waste money. Getting the right balance of good tasting food at affordable prices is key and Brewers Fayre sure delivers this.
