Day 25 of 31: Pictures and a Painting for a Good Cause

By Jenny Mac Rogers @jennymac1207

My creative brain is all tuckered out today, so rather than attempt to write something just for the sake of having written, I'll share with you what I've been up to.
At St. John's Episcopal Church, here in Laurel, Mississippi, we are having our annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction this coming Saturday night. I'm contributing a couple of things to the silent auction, and, in true Jenny Mac form, I'm finishing them up at the eleventh hour.

Mixed media/acrylic cross painting.

Last week, in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, I posted a photo I took at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. There's actually a pair of these lovely cherubs to greet worshipers as they enter the sanctuary at the cathedral. Collectively, I call them Piccoli Angeli. Here, they are printed in a lovely pearlescent finish, matted and framed.

There are tons of great items at the auction, big and small. And all for a wonderful cause. This church contributes so much to the life blood of this community.
If you're interested in the event, there's more information here.
And remember, if you like it then you should have put a bid on it!
