This was my second trip to this famous museum with its large collection of aircraft, of which many are placed outside.  Inaugurated in 1919, it is one of the oldest aviation museums in the world.  This photo was taken through a tinted window and I could not get the colors to look right, so monochrome it is.  The Dassault Étendard IV is a subsonic carrier-borne strike fighter aircraft, which entered service with the French Navy in 1962.  90 aircraft were procured, 69 Étendard IVM fighters and 21 Étendard IVP reconnaissance versions, and deployed aboard the French Clemenceau-class aircraft carriers, the Clemenceau and Foch.  Replaced by the Super Étendard, the original Étendard was retired from carrier service in 1980, and was phased out from active roles in 1987.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
