When Rose must go on a sailing holiday with her mother Alma and her new boyfriend Derek, he’s not as charming as he may first seem when his dark past quickly catches up with them when in the water.

⭐️

Derek seems pretty perfect and has a boat, what could possibly go wrong? Well, everything as it turns out. Rose is about to enter a world that she had no clue even existed and must battle to stay alive. Considering her mother was pretty smitten with him she had no choice than to join them on the trip away.

Everything would go from bad to worse for Rose and it certainly never looked like a good outcome for the young woman, but we will give her the fight in her that she must do over and over again. It does really get to the point where you just think are you kidding that she now has to deal with something else.

I want to state that I fully blame my current Grey’s Anatomy obession for even watching this film damn you Mark Sloan sorry Eric Dane. Seriously though that is the one and only reason I decided to watch this film and I guess that means I only have myself to blame. Anyway it also has Ray Liotta in what turns out to be his final film appearance, albeit not the biggest of screentime for him but he managed to be creepy.

Odeya Rush certainly gave her all in the performance, delivering a captivating portrayal of her character. However, the film’s plot and script fell short, veering into the realm of the ridiculous. Despite her admirable effort, the limitations of the storyline hindered the overall impact of the movie.
