Dana Gavanski – ‘How to Feel Uncomfortable’

Dana Gavanski has shared ‘How to Feel Uncomfortable’ ahead of the release of third album ‘Late Slap’ via Full Time Hobby on 5 April. Promising that the record will celebrate the ‘disparate aspects of my character that I sometimes tried to repress’, this song – which opens the album – finds Dana in more confident and playful mood than ever before.

Fitting where art rock meets baroque pop with stop-start riffs and the title being repeated over and over, Dana talks about how we should start putting our phones down – ‘it’s scrambling your mind, tired of your zombie glow, soaking up your eyes’ – and try to live more in the moment and ‘feel alive’, even if boredom, imposter syndrome and indecisions will all try to stop you doing so…
