There has long been a rumor that Dame Dash slapped Harvey Weinstein long ago on the set of the movie Paid In Full. The rumors were brought back to life when Cam’ron talked about it on a newly released song, and the anecdote is obviously very timely due to the recent surfacing of the many sexual assault allegations against Weinstein.

TMZ talked to Damon about the incident, asking him to confirm or deny the story–and he doesn’t really do either. Though he doesn’t deny or confirm, he plays coy and says “someone definitely got slapped” and emphasizes the fact that he was in a legal battle because of it. Whatever the case with the actual slap, Dash condemns Weinstein and says that he’s also chosen to not work with him because he’s never respected his actions toward women or how he treated people in the culture.
