Story: Dagr starts when we meet the rebellious YouTubers Louise (Moritz) and Thea (Duckles). The pair commit crimes in the name of fame but keep their identities secret. Elsewhere, Tori (Butler-Hart) and her team are preparing for a small advert shot.

The pair are planning on going undercover on the shot and complete their latest heist. However, when they arrive at the location, they discover something far more shocking and must figure out what to do next.

Verdict on Dagr

Dagr is a horror thriller following a pair of YouTubers who are planning their next video. However, they end up coming up against something they never imagined.

This is a found footage movie and most importantly, one that gets everything right. From the Robin Hoodesque YouTubers who believe they are doing the right thing but act recklessly. To the normal calm advert shot. The two sides create a natural situation for people to be involved in. This creates an excellent build-up and a way to understand the character’s mindsets. When we get to the horror, it unleashes the chaos without becoming jarring to watch. In the end, this becomes one of the best found footage films made in recent years.

Final ThoughtsDagr is one of the best new found footage movies.
