Custard Apple Rabdi, is a delightful festive dessert or otherwise.Enjoy this when markets are flooded with fruit and enjoy!
So here's my new post, and this time it is Custard Apple (Sitafal) Rabdi!
I have been a little late to post recipes,Sorry for making you all wait.
I am getting so many requests for recipes that I am not able to prioritize, which one's I should take up first.
So when a reader asked me to share Sitafal/Custard Apple Rabdi,I was wondering how to do the recipe, as I personally never liked that fruit.
In-spite of my mom and many in my family are crazy for Custard Apple, somehow I never grew taste for it.
These days markets/stores are flooded with Custard Apples. When I got this recipe request,I thought of making it for my readers, but I had so many doubts that whether I will be able to finish it😀
So I gave it a try my way and guess what! I ate two servings of it! not 1 but 2😂
Here are some facts about this recipe:
- I have added very less sugar as Custard Apple itself was very sweet for me,so I did not want to overpower it with sugar and loose the fruit taste.
- I did not add any flavor /essence here as the fruit itself oozes so much of its aroma in the final dish that you wont need anything extra.
- Still if you prefer then add rose/kewra or any essence of your choice.
- For garnish, what to add is totally a personal choice,I wanted the pictures to be a bit interesting so I added Rose buds.
